Taking Pictures of Sugar Strawberries, Water Drop and Some Special Effects
This may look like a random blog post because all the mixtures of topics. However the main theme is special effects. I decided to start this blog post by showing some pictures I took using sugar strawberries. Thanks to the great effect of flash photography I was able to capture how the sugar was being sprinkled in the strawberries. Sugar and Strawberries are probably one of my favorite combinations and that is one of the reasons I decided to create something fun with it. I even let the strawberries fall in one of the picture which created this awesome effect having the sugar all around it.
For the next special effect I decided to take pictures of a water drop. I made a reflection with a color paper to help to create this effect in the water drop. Taking pictures of a water drop takes a lot of time and it is hard to get it right but here are some of my results. I also tried with milk and I loved the result. Water drops are amazing!
A water drop is not the only special effect that I wanted to show case in this blog post. As usually I decided to include a portrait. For this special effect result I used a fog machine, speed lights, and gels to create those amazing colors in this portrait. My friend Alexa Shulte was the model for this stunning portrait. Alexa was really brave holding this snake and posing for me!
