He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Mary (Mihlbauer) Lancaster, his daughter Amber Malia Anderson (Luke Anderson and their 4 children: Maylea, Judah, Willow, and Eden) and his 3 sons: Shane Kimo, Caleb Keoni, and Jordan Kale, his mother, Charlotte Gronmark (Jim Gronmark), his sister, Sharon Pattishall (Chuck Pattishall and their 3 daughters: Emma, Haley, and Audrey) and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. His beautiful smile, honesty and hard work ethic were admired by everyone that know him. He was a member of Seaton Park Baptist Church, Louisville, KY. He grew up in Millersport, Ohio, which is where he met his wife, Julie. He was a life-long Wolf Pack fan, especially rooting for the basketball team. He was very proud of qualifying as a Sharpshooter, awarded his Small Arms Marksmanship on February 2, 1965; then he re-enlisted in the Army Air National Guard on September 26, 1968 and retired as a Staff Sergeant of the 127 Maintenance Co. on March 22, 1991 after 28 years of dedicated service, he was awarded the dedicated service medal for his active duty during 1990-91 Operation Desert Storm Middle East Crisis in the Persian Gulf.Mr. Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
