The apostle concludes with declaring his good hope concerning himself and these Hebrews, that they should not forfeit the character and happiness of the just, and fall under the brand and misery of the wicked (Hebrews 10:39; Hebrews 10:39): But we are not, c. as if he had said, "I hope we are not of those who draw back.
