Capturing a Water Drop using Macro Close Up Photography
Hello readers! for this blog post I decided to show a little about macro close up photography and explain how to get water drops with it. For this pictures I used a 22-70 mm Macro Lens and I added a 4 x Close Up Filter to get the water drop really sharp. Taking macro or close up pictures can be tricky. This type of photography needs a lot of light especially when using macro tubes. In order to get cool water drop you will need a eye dropper and also it is good to know that a water drop likes to stay on plants or flowers so it is easier to get cool and sharp close up macro water drop with this type of elements. Also you need to hold still, this can be very tricky. When I was taking the pictures to this water drop I had to almost stop breathing when I was focusing until I clicked the shutter. However, even macro close up photography requires a lot of effort, it is totally worth it. The results are amazing, especially when you water drops look very sharp. I like to use the water drops as a fish eye effect to reflect what it is on the background. A good friend of mine, Caryn Esplin is an expert in getting this type of pictures and she is amazing at it! here is a link to her web page: http://www.carynesplin.com/ You will find that she is amazing at close up photography too!
