Creating a Booklet Creative Resume Handout
I created this creative resume to showcase my experience in the graphic design and photography field. I am a passionate photographer and graphic designer and I wanted to portray that in my creative resume. I decided to do a ver minimalistic style booklet with my pictures, big and beautiful titles that could look like a magazine. Throughout the whole creative resume booklet, the reader will be able to see not only my design skills, but my past work, creativity, and photography. I decided to go for a conceptual feeling in the cover where the letters that are orange are the ones spelling my name in the first spread. I love conceptual design. I am a person that believes that design is not only about making things look beautiful but also about having a meaning behind it. This creative resume shows my style and who I am. I also included some phrases that will let the reader know me better and learn more about me.
One of the things that I decided to include the most in my creative resume was my fashion photography. I absolutely love editorial photography and fashion. I think it is such a cool industry and one in which you can be super creative because it is always changing. I also included commercial work that shows my skills as a photographer and graphic designer. I love my friend’s portfolio, he loves and works for the fashion industry. I took the first four pictures of my creative resume handout myself at The Gates in Rexburg Idaho and I used a free mockup from freedesignresources.net to showcase the inside.
