Creating Product Photography with Light Painting
I decided to make another post about light painting ad how it can be used in product photography. As I mentioned in a post before, light painting gives you the opportunity to decide what parts of the subject you want to lighten and you can actually do this with very simple equipment, even flashlights. Light painting is an awesome technique to use with product photography. We all know how much product photography is demanded. Product photography is one of the main reasons why people want to buy certain product. When combining light painting with product photography you can create stunning images and even better that the ones that are created in studios with a lot of very expensive equipment.
Douglas Phan has been my inspiration for this picture that I created. Douglas Phan is a great friend of mine and he introduced me to composites with light painting photography using products. Here is a link to his website: http://www.douglasphan.com/ This pictures were taken at The Gates in Rexburg Idaho. I took a different series of pictures of this product called and then made a composite with all of them highlighting the parts that I wanted to show in the final picture in Adobe Photoshop.
